My report was inaccurate and contradictory. I have had one appointment since I signed the paperwork with them back in 2021. I have received no therapy or medication. My funding has been used to fund their failing clinic. Waste of NHS money.

Staff incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, kept me updated and fully supported throughout the whole process. I have been struggling with severe ADHD since childhood and finally have some answers and help to help me move forward and cope with life better. Excellent staff.

From first contact to the end of the titration process, I was treated with respect. My consultant and titration nurse were wonderful, and answered any questions I had promptly. When I wasn't getting on well with the first medication I tried, this was swiftly dealt with. I have recommended Psychiatry UK to my family and friends.

I have had a really good experience with Psychiatry UK overall, I felt listened too and valued. I was kept in the loop and informed continuously throughout my treatment and titration, even when handling a couple of issues (which couldn't have been avoided), it was handled with professionalism and my wellbeing and thoughts were prioritised. I have had my entire life changed for the better through diagnosis and now have switched careers to be a part of the people who drive change for those of us with neurodiverse conditions - and the acceptance, understanding and inclusion that we deserve. Constructive feedback would be: Be mindful of potential negative reactions throughout consult and treatment due to emotional dis-regulation from patients - especially when dealing with potential health anxiety and long waiting times. By giving as much information and explanation as possible and offering to answer questions via the portal or arrange a phone call to discuss any 'issues' e.g. re-checks for ecg's. I think an on team cardiologist etc to get quick access to second opinions rather than asking the patient to go back through the system for a referral which could take months. This can be extremely distressing. The Titration process is amazing, but i think that some additional information regarding lifestyle holistic management would be so beneficial! e.g. ensuring that patients are aware of foods that can metabolise ADHD medication, burnout routines, diet, the need to do things that benefit ADHD management as an ongoing life style change, and supplements like L-Tyrosine and magnesium that can benefit.

I just want to say Thankyou for giving me my life back, at 43 at the time i never thought i would get help or anwers to my struggles. I had lost fiath in doctors, when i was a chlid my mum took me to doctors many times saying something wasnt right with me, never sits down to eat, always on the go, only selpt 4 hours night ect, they made her feel like she was wrong and it was her fault. P uk lisened and didnt rush me, the forms where a bit difficult at times but the titration nurse was amazing and very patient. I think its safe to say i had anxiety about taking medication took me a while on titration. life is more managable and i am now working full time, i still struggle but not as much as i did. I still have difficulty trusting other doctors but thats something i need to work on. Most importantly i understand myself and can help myself. A big thankyou to the whole team.

I was really pleasantly surprised by how much I was listened to by my prescriber, and how she responded to what I was struggling with. I was never rushed to accept advice or get used to the medication, it was made clear that we were working together to find solutions that would really work and I'd never received such diligent and personal healthcare before.

I was seen by psych UK for an NHS referral for ADHD. The process was really fast actually all things considered, I believe I got referred in November 2021 and got seen by a psychiatrist in spring 2022, and was on titration for medication by June 2022. Everyone I interacted with throughout was nothing short of lovely - I felt validated and safe, and in addition my gender identity was respected throughout, which I appreciated. During the titration I felt comfortable bringing up side effects that concerned me and suggestions, and those comments were quickly and confidently recieved and responded to (for example, when I felt my medication gave me a severe crash in the afternoon, we trialled a different dose, as well as a fast release medication in the afternoon). The fact that the portal was online and text based was really helpful (especially for people with ADHD) and the whole thing felt really safe, well managed, and I felt confident that I was recieving a really high quality of care. Helen Spencer-Hicks was my prescriber, so I communicated with her the most, and she was genuinely incredible, so lovely and communicative, and my psychiatrist was excellent too. Truly will not stop singing my praises of this service to other people

My time was very positive. Everything i suggested was discussed and implemented if it was the correct course of action or if not was explained why not. Would highly recommend, especially Lorraine she was so helpful and very patient even when i wrote essays of questions. Thanks very much.

Lovely people with a lovely service, respected my pronouns, felt very supported and could message them at any time that I need to. Really sad and frustrated that NHS Kent CCG has decided to stop funding my titration but Psychiatry-uk have been lovely with helping me understand. I have recommended to friends and will keep doing so
