I was a patient with Psychiatry UK through RTC for an adult ADHD diagnosis and treatment titration. I am extremely thankful to the team at Psychiatry UK for their care, kindness and support. This has been a truly life changing experience and what started as a scary journey that I began alone quickly became an exciting look towards what I can achieve in the future with direct help every step of the way. I want to say an enormous thank you to my doctor and nurse prescriber. I felt that they listened carefully to me and gave thoughtful consideration towards my needs. They used their knowledge to explain what was happening and why I might be experiencing things related to the medication, to ADHD in general, and within my more complex medical needs and treatments. They also advised me on the other forms of support in addition to my medication that could aid me going forward. I received support quickly for any questions that I had and my treatment was adapted to best suit my personal lifestyle. The entire process was managed through an easy to use online portal, with a quick messaging system, and I was able to arrange prescriptions to be delivered directly to my address. The actual process of getting an ADHD diagnosis unfortunately involves a lot of paperwork and forms, but they made it as simple and easy to do as possible. I am leaving with the tools to be able to completely change my future. What I have been able to achieve during these months of titration is incredible when compared with years of trying and failing alone only to not understand why. I also now have answers as to why I struggle with certain things and the documents needed to request help from outside support. I am genuinely sad to be leaving this team upon ending my titration simply because I felt so cared for and supported here. A particular thank you to Dean Tipton for your incredible support and advice throughout this process. After receiving my diagnosis at PUK, several friends reached out to me saying that they were considering getting advice regarding ADHD themselves. I was able to confidently direct them towards PUK and they are now on their journey towards support as well. Thank you Psychiatry UK for all your help.

I went through Psychiatry UK & Right to Choose for my ADHD diagnosis - it has changed my life for the better in so many ways. Albeit a long process, it is much shorter (and less silent) than the NHS diagnostic waiting list at the moment. The clinicians and prescribers were always very quick to respond to any of my queries via their online portal. Thank you Psychiatry UK for all that you do!v

I highly recommend Psychiatry UK. They have been so helpful with my ADHD diagnosis and subsequent care and titration through searching for a medicinal treatment. Lorraine Forsythe, my prescriber, was so helpful and patient with me.

A fantastic service, I cannot emphasise how life-changing my diagnosis and access to medication has been, and many people around me have noticed a positive change. The staff are friendly and helpful and I could not suggest any improvements to my care.

I was diagnosed with ADHD and the staff helped me feel relaxed through the whole thing. My prescriber was extremely helpful, helped me make difficult decisions when I felt indecisive, and whose knowledge of, and advice on the ADHD medication was great enough that I feel more comfortable on it than ever. Psychiatry UK has been completely life changing for me, every time I've dealt with anyone from the service, it's always been a pleasant experience! I always felt respected, consulted, informed and supported. I've experienced no issues in any form, the online portal is innovative with forms self saving frequently along the way incase you get side tracked or put it down, the whole portal is very easy to navigate through too! Anytime I've been advised Psychiatry UK were busy with a particular situation (for example Assessment letters or Royal mail strikes) the service has advised their usual time frames along with an updated expectation, which in my experience P-UK always managed to exceed my expectations in a positive way! P-uk has been wonderful to me in every aspect.

My whole experience has been great, Dr Yann Welton & titration team including Karen Smith always responded promptly and made sure I was aware of any changes in the process, as well as being very kind and understanding. Absolutely worth the wait
