I was treated by Dr Shahab Tamuri and Nurse Salma Ali and both have been absolutely fantastic all throughout this period. They were kind, understanding and accommodating at all times and I never once felt unable to talk to them about any issues or concerns. The process itself has gone incredibly smoothly and Psychiatry UK make it so easy to contact your clinicians and request medication through their online portal. Would absolutely recommend - thank you both!

The admin staff, titration nursing team and consultant I used were all great! A lot was achieved in the few video consultations I had, the asymmetric messaging service for the medication titration period was great and I received quick and detailed responses from the team. It was a particularly nice facility during the titration as I felt I could properly discuss progress and concerns and set the pace without the inconvenience of a full consultation each time. Despite the popularity of the service increasing rapidly, it was well managed throughout. My consultant Dr Assalman was amazing, he considered my specific situation, concerns and lifestyle and was highly approachable. I received excellent non-judgemental care. High recommended.

I honestly wish I could continue to use Psychiatry UK instead of NHS services. I was involved with CAMHS most of my childhood and so many things were missed including ADHD which Psychiatry UK diagnosed me with after the NHS denying my request to be assessed. Dr Assalman was supportive from day one and showed me the best patient centred care I have seen from any consultant I have been treated by. Jenni Unsworth one of the most competent prescribers I have met who went above and beyond to ensure I got the treatment that suited my lifestyle the best. The support I have been given and if you can afford it I would always recommend this team.

Following NHS referral, I had an evening consultation with Dr Reji Jayan. The consultation went very well, she was very professional and made me feel very comfortable throughout. For the first time in my life I felt as if someone actually got/ understood me, without judgement. My diagnosis was explained thoroughly. Dr Jayan made me realise that the diagnosis was not a negative; we extensively discussed the positives and she gave advice on how I should use it to move forward now I have an 'understanding' of myself. I am grateful to Dr Jayan for making me feel relaxed and at ease throughout the consultation and for helping me to begin the process of acknowledging and understanding my diagnosis.

I have been waiting for over a month for a refund for a cancelled appointment. I find it appalling that people already suffering from mental health conditions should have to chase a simple refund twice to no avail. I have been left £360 short since the 12th November.

The initial wait times were bad and I felt like I was passed around but once I got my prescribing nurse, the process became much better and they helped me so much.

Great service that has helped me reach a diagnosis and provided me with all the information and support that I need to start medication. Online portal makes communicating with Drs and staff straight forward, everyone has dealt with my queries in a very understanding and timely manner which I am really grateful for.
