The whole team is really good at communicating with the patient, my Dr suchitra, is very respectful and understanding, I felt really comfortable opening up to her and the appointment went really well, she listened to me and let me express myself clearly.

I was really nervous about my appointment but once we was up and running I felt as comfortable as I could be as I did the video call from the comfort of my own home I got answers I was looking for and I was diagnosed in my first appointment at the age of 30 so thank you so much for your help and hopefully this is a new step for me in my life where I could start feeling better and not be in my own head all the time.

I have recently been assessed for autism and ADHD via Right to Choose on the NHS. I would very much recommend this service. I am a bit shell shocked at how quickly it all happened! It all went very smoothly and I found the patient portal easy to use and my messages were responded to quickly and efficiently. The only issue I had was that my referral initially arrived but wasn't being dealt with for some reason, but this was quickly sorted out by a very helpful person with a phone call from me.
Dr Owen Roberts assessed me and he is very kind and knowledgeable and was able to put me at ease, despite discussing sensitive subjects. He is also very experienced in assessing women who are both autistic and have ADHD, which can be more difficult to do.
I feel that I have had a brilliant service from Psychiatry UK and I am very grateful to not have to have had to wait for years as I think was the case had I gone through the NHS route.

My life has changed because of PUK and the standard of care i received. Always very fast with replies and messages, easy service to use very clear instructions. Staff always provided as much information as possible covering every concern.

Can't recommend the service enough. I used Right to Choose, which took my waiting time for an appointment down from 2-3 years on the NHS, to 4-5 months. This helped immensely. It was really easy to make an appointment when I was contacted, and I was given a choice of dates/times. The portal is also really easy to use. This service is a godsend!

Psychiatry UK were quick to react to my referral from the NHS, I was kept informed of the stages and their online portal made it easy to track and progress my referral.
