Very straightforward and painless process. Great communication from Psychiatry UK, from referal through to appointment, which only took about 4 months. I was quoted 4 years for our local service, and opted for Psychiatry UK as a right to choose option. Dr Soumaya Nasser El Din made me feel comfortable and was clear about what was needed. Would (and have) recommend(ed).

Genuinely the most positive patient experience I have had in the UK. I was treated with kindness by the clinical as well as the admin staff and the process of diagnosis and titration was efficient and comfortable.

Throughout the entire process from receiving my ADHD diagnosis to the end of my titration period, I have been completely supported and reassured by both Dr Pietrak and Paul Cavanaugh, who supported my titration period.
After years of feeling misunderstood and being confused about myself and how I process everything around me, I felt my concerns about myself were acknowledged and I was heard for the first time at 33 years old.
The difference the support I have received from both Paul and Dr Pietrak has meant more than I will be able to explain, and has improved my quality of life in every way possible. I couldn't be more grateful.
After hearing horror stories about years and years of waiting times, a lack of support, no availability of medication, I was really pleasantly surprised just how long the process has taken with Psychiatry UK. From the point of GP referral, to the closing of my titration period, the entire process has taken 11 months. I was advised I would be on a waiting list by my GP for up to 3 years. Psychiatry UK kept me updated frequently with where I was on the waiting list, and gave me an actual figure and how many patients were on the list. This was really helpful.
I'm incredibly grateful to Psychiatry UK. I would still be leading a very unhappy and unfulfilled life were it not for their support and understanding.

I felt that I was well guided through the process of getting my ADHD Diagnosis and throughout the medicine review. It was much faster than going through my GP and I thought that the staff were very understanding and compassionate, which made it much easier for me to be open and ask questions when I needed to. Apart from one video call for the assessment, all communication was done online (which I much prefer) and the response times were brilliant! I have already recommended the service to others and would recommend them again in the future.

First, I want to thank everyone who has been part of my ADHD journey. I was referred to Psychiatry UK by a friend for an ADHD diagnosis and treatment. My whole experience with them has been highly positive. From start to finish, the experience and people have been fantastic. Throughout the diagnosis and titration stage, I've felt supported and always kept in the loop of what's happening next. I wish I had known about this years ago. The medication has changed my life in a postive way.

The process was very good with this company as an NHS right to choose patient. They were understanding, good at communicating and everyone that I spoke to had a genuine caring manner.
From the initial contact after referral, the appointment with the consultant, and the contact with the titration team everything has been great.
When I was unsure of something I was reassured, and the colleagues who replied to me whilst my prescriber was off of work were also very helpful and efficient.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. We went to Psychiatry UK seeking an ADHD diagnosis after learning that the waiting list for assessment was nearly 2 years long locally. Dr Val Yeung and Sally, our titration nurse were incredibly supportive and professional. Communication was always swift, clear and empathetic.
