Boots Pharmacy Richmond George Street

I went to purchase vitamins and iron with heavy shopping bags while paying another purchase and asked if there’s a recycle bin to bin my previous receipt bought earlier, the young two female customers could had bin it as next to her but they wanted me to go round the counter just SO unfriendly

Incredibly inefficient and poor service

I went in yesterday to collect a prescription that I receive every two months. I’d been emailed by boots to say it was ready Firstly I was told it wasn’t there then I was told quite curtly that the reason it wasn’t there is because I’d only just collected the last one on 22nd January. I pointed out it was now middle of March. Then I was told they were having problems with their fax (ridiculous in 2020) and that I should call my doctors. I called the doctors, passed the phone to pharmacist who then after a lengthy discussion said “ok I’ll put it through” Half an hour later I queued again and then was told quite aggressively “madam you’re in too early to collect you’ll need to call your doctors” I tried to then explain that we’d done that but the member of staff wasn’t listening She then called my doctors who apparently hadn’t approved the prescription and told me I wouldn’t be getting the prescription that day. All this took 45mins with my toddler screaming So humiliating for me having to go through this with staff who clearly don’t care since their systems are so inefficient Please don’t go here, there’s a pharmacy on sheen road where they treat you with respect

The pharmacy part of the Boots is totally inefficient . They never pick up the phone and there's always a long queue when you are there in person. Totally understaffed. Shame they're the only pharmacy in Richmond high street , otherwise I would never go there for any medicine issues.
