The main two things are it gives Aaron independence he can’t get from anywhere else Makes him feel in control which the carers and nurses and Doctors in fact all staff give him He enjoys going there which is fantastic as when he first started he was very anxious but the confidence he has got from everyone at Jacks as they get to know each individual’s personality Also the skill and experience the staff have lets us leave him there knowing he will be safe and well care for As for parents who have the responsibility of caring it’s nice to know we can relax which only happens when his at Jacks If there is any problems Jack are always there

Family Support Team
I regularly attend the "Dads United" events that Naomi House run for bereaved fathers. I was hesitant at first as I find it hard to talk about my feelings, a problem most men have, but these events are not like that. They are a chance for a bunch of guys to get together, have some fun, but also be in a safe space where they can talk about their grief with no judgement as everyone knows what you are feeling. I started attending these about a year ago and have been going to every one since as each one has been fun, interesting or both. It is wonderful that Naomi House provides this service to help bereaved fathers as it is very difficult to support them otherwise.

In House Naomi House
My daughter was in for a stay for 3 nights, they made sure that i was able to step back from the roll as career for her and get some time to myself and get do the fun things with her. She was able to access the pool and had time with the physio as well in the pool. They had made her food for her as required.
