I have followed Mr Patel to his new practice in St. Johns wood since he left Boots Wigmore street. For many years I was frustrated with my prescription until my GP who sees him as well recommended him. First time round he got it spot on by understanding my needs and recommending the most suitable varifocal lens for me. I was sad to see he has left wigmore street and attended them in his absence, apparently to see his replacement. Which clearly was not the case as they told me they were covering from another store. Whilst it seemed ‘ok it just lacked that obvious skill and slickness that Mr Patel has, he just makes it look easy whilst the other opticians complicate the eye test. Also, he has a personality with an incredible ability to hold a conversation not just a churned off Robot! In the end I went to see him about my new eye trouble and he explained I do not need a change of prescription but to treat my dry eyes and Blepharitis. Low and behold, two weeks on my old glasses seem absolutely fine! I still came back and ordered some new frames

I was Introduced to Mr. Sachin Patel, by someone at the moorsfield, to order bandage contact lenses from. Previously I had been wearing some lenses that was causing me erosions in the eye every week. Sachin was extremely professional and helpful in indentifying the issue with my lens. He realised The diameter of my previous lens was 14+ And ordered for me a few different options to try but in a smaller diameter. It worked like magic ! Had absolutely no issues with my contacts after moving on to the ones suggested by him. Sachin, makes you feel like a family. As if you are discussing an issue with your family member. He listens to it very carefully and patiently, and treats it as if the problem is with him. With him, it’s not about a one time consultation thing, if you are dissatisfied or unhappy with something he is always willing to promptly see you and respond. From my personal experience, I have seen that For him patient care comes before any thing else ! I am so happy with him that I visit him abroad every two months, and always buy my products through him due to the mutual trust I share with him. He has now moved into a new practice at St. John’s Wood and I have chased him all The way down to the new outlet. Previously I had been seeing him at Boots optician at wigmore. I always tell him, where you go I’ll keep chasing you no matter where you are ! I suggest everyone to go to him. He has the expertise to deal with one of the most complex Issues like I had. You don’t need to sit for hours at the Ophtalmologist when he can resolve most of the issues at his clinic. His knowledge is vast and experience is unmatchable. I can vouch for him that he is the best so far ! By the way I have met several optometrist all over the world due to my extensive travelling.

I was recommended to see Mr Patel by friend who had seen him last at his consulting rooms in Wigmore street. I had attended another high street multiple who claim to be 'experts'. Clearly this was not the case. I was given first time glasses which in-fact made my vision worse! After much back and forth with them, I gave up. I contacted Mr Patel at his new practice in St John’s Wood who kindly listened to my problems and was confident he could fix them. I attended his beautiful new practice and he tested my eyes with very hi-tech equipment. More importantly, he was able to interpret the findings and give me a new prescription, which actually correct my vision! Everyone claims to have great new equipment, but Mr Patel really has top of the range stuff and as he is more qualified than most optometrists he was able to extract what he needed. I received my new spectacles in three days and they are absolutely spot on! I highly recommend seeing him for any eyecare needs!

Well what can I say? except first class! Being a customer service manager for 25 years service is everything to me and at Safarian and Simon Opticians that is exactly what I got and heaps of it! I was greeted by Navin as I entered and the lovely Gabby who offered me a tea or coffee while I waited to be seen by Sachin Patel . I felt not only valued but very well cared for and after expert advice from Sachin I left with a new pair of frames and a very chuffed me! Thank you look forward to seeing you again soon! Robbie
