I would like to leave feedback for the way in which a young man helped me in choosing the right glasses for myself. This young fellow is named Sam. At the moment I'm going through a great deal of stress , having chemo for my recent cancer surgery. I brought my daughter with me to help me choose the right frames and Sam was really helpful and was extremely patient as it took me ages to choose. Now I eagerly await my new specs together with a sunglasses prescription. The optometrist did mention transition lenses but I wasn't sure they'd be right for me. Sam explained that sometimes transitions take about 10 minutes to clear back and that the led lighting we have throughout our bungalow can also affect the lenses, therefore that helped me decide, as I read a lot and don't want to have them dimming on me when the lights are on. He is an extremely courteous and kind young man, and is a credit to your company.

I was assisted by Amiah Santos. She was very considerate, helpful and informative considering it was my first time needing glasses. I didn't have to wait at all to be seen and she was extremely helpful in ensuring I had the correct information and glasses. Would definitely recommend to anyone of the service. No improvements to be made at all.

The appointment time was not running to schedule and I was not informed about this, it was approx 20 mins late. The Optometrist was very thorough. However the whole appointment felt like a sales pitch, 3 different types of spectacles, 5 different types of lenses, constantly upselling. Scare mongering constantly referring to "god forbid" I got an infection. My records had not been updated since 2014. The last eye test on the manual sheets was clearly incorrect. My name had 2 records with my current and previous addresses. In 30 years of being a Boots contact lens customer, this was by far the worse service and frustrating examination I have ever experienced.
