Share review of Boots Opticians Sheffield - Meadowhall
The optometrist didn't take any real time to look at my eyes or even be bothered to look at my history when it comes to my eyes/previous visits to the opticians. A machine/computer doing it all doesn't fill me with confidence and I think it's a huge mistake near enough eradicating the human optometrist.
The staff member who did my initial eye checks didn't seem at all confident in the job she was doing either.
All staff members seem to talk to you as if you're a bit dim - infuriating when you've been wearing glasses for 25 years.
All this after my appointment being late (and me only being called in when I spoke to a staff member to ask what was going on - I wasn't approaches before this, the staff seemed too busy having personal chats) is extremely disappointing and I have lost any faith I had in boots opticians. I won't be returning in 2 years time.
To top it off I paid £25 for the "privilege". Absolute joke.
