Kate, the optometrist, was wonderful. She was thorough, professional and explained things well, she was also very friendly. A lovely lady. Previously to this, I noticed though that when the next person was ready to use the machine for photographing the optic nerve after me, the assistant did not clean the machine first, which was worrying, nor did the assistant clean the machine previously to me using it. I did comment on this to Kate, who was also concerned. As I am a registered nurse, I do tend to notice these things because of the risk of infection. Also the guy I saw after my examination, who was called Sam, was also wonderful and needs to be praised.
