I visited the D90 practice to order an extra set of lenses for my holidays (I've been on a lens plan for many years ). I only ever order an extra set, at the most once a year, and previously have always paid the same price as I pay monthly. I was told in no uncertain terms that the practice is under new management and that would not be allowed. Pay £25 or add an extra set to your plan and get them in March. I became more upset with the the tone and arrogance of the asdvisor, that the issue was not about an extra £5 but more about appauling customer service. I left feeling totally upset and reprimanded!! I suspect more training is required to remind Elizabeth that even though we are working for Boots we are still customers, because, I can only assume that if she speaks to other customers in such a manner (that Boots don't advocate), then they would be leaving in their droves. I have now sadly had to cancel the plan and look for alternatives.I would like to reiterate it is not about the cost as i can appreciate that rules are rules but i cannot accept such arrogance.
