My appointment had to be rescheduled as it wasn't made clear during booking that my contact lenses needed to be worn 2 hours prior to the appointment. My wife on the other hand was seen for her contact lense appointment even though she hadn't been wearing the lenses prior to the appointment. This was the same day to my appointment.
