I attended Boots to have a new pair of varifocals fitted. Jon seemed very pleasant and helpful. When I mentioned I was surprised that they were not as clear as the old pair he assured me I would be acclimatised to them in 2 or 3 days. What he failed to notice was that the glasses were not sat level. The one eye was in the centre and the other eye was near the top of the lens. When I got home my sons immediate reaction was to notice they weren't level. I had to visit Boots on the Saturday morning, first thing and the lady assistant there soon saw the problem and adjusted the frames to fit properly. I immediately noticed how much more comfortable optically the glasses were to wear. They are still not 100% correct but I am now on a fortnights holiday so I may well have to visit Boots again to get this spot on. Generally I am very pleased with Boots but on this occasion I am disappointed at the service I received. It should not be down to the customer to spot such a clear fault and spend time visiting the shop again.
