The assistant called Fern, who I saw originally, was very helpful and friendly. When I went back and saw Rebecca, she was also very helpful and efficient. I was told that my new glasses could take 7 - 10 days. I paid for them upfront on Friday 24th March. After 7 days I phoned to enquire if my glasses were in because I was busy this week and wanted to try and fit in an appointment to collect them. I was told that they were still not in and would let me know when they were in. After 10 days I phoned again because I was getting concerned as the 10 days were up and I hadn't had a phone call to let me know that my glasses were in. To my surprise I was told they were in and I could collect them that afternoon, Friday 7th April. I had to change my arrangements that afternoon to fit this appointment in. When I explained that I never had to wait 10 days for glasses before I was told that they had been sitting in a drawer for 2 days with a note on stating that 'customer to be advised'. I was very disappointed with this and didn't expect this from Boots.
