The staff member who I spoke to originally about new glasses was fantastic, she was so helpful (Melanie) it was a Sunday afternoon just before closing but she couldn't do enough for me and I eventually found some glasses which I loved. Collecting my glasses left a lot to be desired as when I got home I realised the frame was badly scratched in a very obvious place... I've not got to go back tomorrow to see what they are willing to do for me, wasn't happy after waiting 2 weeks for them.

Appointment booked for 12:35. I arrived 12:30 and shown a chair. Finally seen at 12:48. No explanation for delay, no apology forthcoming.

My son and I both had routine eye checks at the same time. We both arrived for our appointments a bit early however this was not considered a problem by Melanie. Melanie took us both through the preliminary checks, answered any questions we raised with clarity. Paul the Optometrist was also great, he took his time and did his upmost to make me comfortable. To cap it all, at no time was there any pressure put on me to make a purchase. Overall the experience was excellent.

Excellent experience, I was first seen by Pam, she was really friendly and professional! The optometrist I saw was Mark Hickman, again he was friendly and reassuring. I was extremely happy with my experience at boots opticians.
