Very happy with my eye test , Melanie was very helpful and Rebecca helped me choose my frames she was only on job experience for the week. Mr Satnam Puglia did my eye test and was friendly and reassuring, Thank you to Boots in Chesterfield.

I was given a friendly welcome by the member of staff who saw me initially (Rebecca) She conducted the initial tests and fully explained what she was doing and why. I felt that she was very professional and I was very impressed by her. I was then asked to wait (This was quite a long wait). I was then asked to go into another room to be seen by the Optometrist (Alice) She was also helpful. Again she explained each test and what it was for as she went through them. There was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The diagnosis (cataracts) was given and the treatment explained. I was asked whether I wanted to go ahead with treatment. Once I had agreed, the process was clearly explained to me and I was given further information to read and a questionnaire to complete ready for my next appointment. The staff were helpful and thoroughly professional throughout.

I was greeted promptly and looked after with great care by Caroline and Steve. I felt they both listened to my needs and gave a great service and excellent advice. I would certainly recommend them to my friends and family.

The optometrist was very good and explained things well. Not so keen on the sales staff who were not unfriendly, but we're a bit wooden and spoke with soppy voices that I am sure they don't use the rest of the time. This approach must be a corporate approach as irrespective of when I visit or who helps me they have the same approach. I prefer to be spoken to by someone with their own personality not one they have been taught to use at a company training day.

The service from start to finish was A1. The young lady (Steph) was professional, courteous and friendly. The optometrist was thorough and also professional and friendly.
