Despite both my current reading and bi-focal glasses being perfectly fine I kept getting reminders to have my eyes tested. Eventually I paid a visit, my eyes were tested and change was found in my prescription. I went with the advice given and purchased 2 new pairs. However, both pairs were unsatisfactory, giving me worse quality of vision than my old pairs (both 3 years old !). The bi-focal distance was satisfactory but not as good as my old pair. The near vision was OK in the bi-focals but mid-range poor. The reading glasses did not give me any sharper vision than my OLD pair which are still perfect for a variety of close and mid-range tasks. Both sets of lenses were re-made (apparently to a weaker prescription) and STILL the vision I had from both pairs was worse than my old pairs ! I have been asked to take the new glasses home and 'see if I get on with them' - I am NOT getting on with them, I strongly feel that neither pair of new glasses give me any improvement whatsoever over my current glasses, are in fact poorer in terms of the improvement to my vision and were a complete waste of money. I will be requesting a refund very soon.
