The consultant who I met with discuss frames didnt speak great English, mumbled and wasnt helpful. He just pushed charts in front of me and started talking and I didnt know what about most of the time because he didnt explain.
He listened carefully, he took time to understand what had happened previously from notes and his own recollection (it helps to see the same person). Explained well all the issues. He was candid in his views even where he had to contradict what a colleague had previously said and done - no "covering up" for previous errors but focussed on putting it right. Will make sure he will do all my future appointments to maintain continuity of service.
No need for improvement I was taken care of by Niraj and the team very well. Felt comfortable and well informed what steps there were to each procedure. He was very patient, confident and calming with his examination care. Very open to any queries I had and provided very useful advice on tips to maintain healthy eyes or at least keep caring for them properly.
Always hate the expectation that I need to get new spectacles. May try VisionExpress next time.
Whilst the eye test was very good, trying to charge me £300 for one pair of glasses is daylight robbery. One staff member was extremely reluctant to give me my pupillary distance so I couldn't go elsewhere. It was only when I reminded her that she vouldn't refuse, that I received it.
