Share review of Boots Opticians London - Cheapside
I booked a contact lens check at Boots in Paternoster Square several days before my appointment and advised them that they needed to obtain my prescription details from the Redhill branch. When I arrived for my appointment they had failed to do this beforehand and the Redhill branch was closed.
I was then given an eye test of sorts and told that I would have been given lenses for long distance sight only and that Redhill would have told me I would need reading glasses, which I was not.
The appointment achieved nothing and I had to re-book for the following morning and was told I probably needed an eye test as well.
When I attended the appointment I was told that my lenses were varifocals so that I should not need reading glasses and that I did not, in fact need an eye test. The whole thing was something of a shambles and I am still waiting to hear about my new lenses following the appointment 6 days ago...
