Boots Opticians Glasgow - Fort

I saw the Optometrist, Craig for my eye exam. He was both friendly and very professional. It was my first eye test in a long while and he took the time to find out the history behind problems I’ve had with my eyes in the past. I felt very well looked after by him. I’ve just tried out my new glasses today and they are incredibly sharp and I’m really happy with them. Fiona talked me through a new type of Zeiss Clear lens and I really see a difference with it. She also did an excellent job of fitting the glasses until she felt they fitted perfect.

Came to Boots, fort, due to very poor service elsewhere. Each person I spoke with put me at ease, very helpful and chatty. I have early Glaucoma and cataracts, so I was anxious. The optometrist Gillian Bickerstaff was extremely professional, she took the time to explain , in layman’s terms my issues and reassured me , she also made a plan going forward. So I just want to thank her, and also the support staff, for making me feel less worried. What a lovely group of ladies! Ty so much.

I had a very good experience at Boots opticians at Glasgow Fort. All staff were lovely and very accommodating. The optician herself was lovely, very thorough and had a lovely manner. She gave excellent advice and put me under no pressure to purchase more glasses, although I did have the option. The girl at the counter also repaired my old pair of glasses that were missing a screw.

Staff were friendly and efficient

I visited boots as I am a contact lense wearer and had pain and discomfort. I had an unclear, cysts and Clare in both my eyes. I was treated by 3 different optomistrist who all took great care to ensure my eyes were properly healed before returning to contact lenses. In addition to this, they took care to ensure that I was refitted with more comfortable lenses which would reduce the risk of my eyes returning to such poor condition.

Reason for appointment was high eye pressure was detected six months ago so they were to get checked again. I got a thorough check up as I'm also suffering from headaches. This time my eye pressure was found to be quite different in each eye so I've been referred to hospital for further tests.
