I have never been happy with my new top of the range varifocials glasses paid over£400 and have had to BUY another pair for computer work not happy at all and constantly cleaning them !!!!

The service is excellent, which can result in appointments running a bit late. However given the quality of the service I have received throughout the years I have no complaints . I do feel though that it shows you may need more staff or possibly slightly longer appointment slots to allow the staff to complete the in depth checks within a more realistic time scale.

I received an eye test and contact lenses from Lyndsey. She was very helpful and very friendly. I also was shown how to put them in by Sharon, who spent a lot of time with me and made it very easy for me to put the lenses in and remove them.

Care at eye test was good although the camera to photograph my retina wasn't working. So this test couldn't be completed. I was told i could come back in again to get it done once it was repaired! Only downfall with being tested at Boots is the price of the glasses. I ordered glasses for my son and then noticed in Specsavers he could have got 2 pairs for the price of 1. I also looked at the glasses in Specsavers for me and there is a lot more choice from the cheaper range or there is an option to get buy 1 get 1 free on most glasses over £69. Due to this, my husband cancelled his Boots eye test and went to Specsavers where he got 2 pairs of glasses with ultra clear and super clean coatings and half price sunglasses all for a cheaper price than the glasses he considered in Boots.!
