I called in to Boots Optician at Westwood Cross. It was as an emergency as whilst out shopping I experienced a bleeding/cobweb effect in my eye. The staff were so kind and a young lady, whose name I don't know was so kind when she took the necessary information. I was fitted in to have a full eye test and check: which was done by Chris (he too was so kind). Long story short, Chris diagnosed a PVD, but he recommended going to A&E as he felt something else was wrong. I have now been diagnosed with a torn retina: which was treated with a laser on Saturday afternoon. I received great care and am very thankful. It's not yet known if the treatment has worked, but return to hospital for a check up next week. A big thank you to all in Boots Optician at Westwood Cross.
