I visited Southampton General hospital for a urology appointment and was greeted and attended by Sharon. She was very easy to talk to, knowledgeable about her subject and explained everything clearly and concisely, including the reasons for my problem, using basic diagrams, which was very helpful. She was very friendly, has a great ability to deal with a difficult subject matter and to put anyone at ease while dealing with very personal problems, which some people might find extremely embarrassing. I would not hesitate to recommend her and to anyone who is reluctant and worried about having such an appointment I would say, don't be, especially if you are lucky enough to get Sharon. Thank you Sharon.

Sharon always arrives promptly with a smile to change my in dwelling catheter every 6 weeks. The procedure is always carried out professionally, faultlessly and quickly. Sharon is extremely friendly and approachable and her visits are genuinely enjoyable. I cannot praise Sharon highly enough.

I have had three appointments with Sharon Beale and on each occasion found her to be good humored and easy to converse with. I have also found her to be very knowledgeable and most professional. Her advice and instructions have always been clear, concise and easy to follow. I consider that we are lucky to have a specialist urology nurse of her calibre at our local Lymington Hospital.

I was seen by Sharon in urology clinic at Lymington Hospital. I had to undergo a very personal assessment and to be taught an undignified treatment. I was dreading the appointment and nearly cancelled it. Sharon was so welcoming and friendly and from the moment she said hello I knew I was in safe hands. she explained all about the intimate part of my body that I needed to deal with and all the way through she asked if I understood so far, she was so clear in her training using diagrams that I really did not have any questions. Sharon made the whole process interesting as I was learning things about my body that I didn;t know so when the time came to be intimate I was more interested than embarrassed. Sharon has such a skill in her nursing role, honed probably over many years I would recomend Sharon to anyone who, like me, are fearful of performing bladder drainage themselves.

First visit to Sharon today - was a bit apprehensive but she made me feel totally at ease from the start. She explained the procedure of ISC fully and I left her feeling reassured regarding what was ahead of me, and she is at the end of the phone should I experience any problems going forward.
