I was assigned Ade as a nurse for my ADHD medication titration via Psychiatry UK as an NHS patient. Ade was responsive but her responses often did not answer my questions and I did not feel that she read my messages thoroughly. I had many concerns and questions about my treatment and these were not addressed or explained even when I asked multiple times for clarification. As someone with communication needs, I try very hard to be clear and to ask specifically for what I need but a lot of Ade's messages were identical copy-pasted responses or did not thoroughly address what I had said. When I asked to change nurses to a nurse with more experience dealing with my conditions, Ade was very understanding and processed this quickly. I appreciate that as I have complex needs, it may be harder for me to find the right nurse, however I did feel very frustrated and upset about feeling that I was not being listened to and that my concerns weren't being taken seriously and my questions weren't being answered. I worked with Ade for several months trying to rectify the situation before deciding I needed to change nurse – it would have been better if Ade had realised that we were struggling to communicate and had offered further support/conversation about my needs, or suggested referring me to another nurse, rather than me needing to do this myself. Overall she seemed very nice but unequipped to support patients with more complex needs or wanting more input in their treatment.

Nothing could be improved ade was so polite and fast with responses to my concerns. She even replied when she was on leave from work which only shows how much she cares for her patients. I have nothing but praise for ade. She got rite to the bottom of my adhd unfortunately i have discovered i have more mental health issues and am being assesed for eupd and bipolar . If it was not for ade being so good at her job i would never of discovered the additional illnesses to get the help i need . So greatfull

Ade was a great titration nurse. She was quick with responses and respected my decisions. Beginning medication is a weird experience to go through and Ade allowed for a smoother titration. Thankfully now I'm able to actually manage through university without such unbelievable struggle as before

Ade was a great help during my titration. My titration process went very smoothly, and she took her time to answer every little question I had. Thanks Ade, my ADHD medication has changed my life and I'm very grateful for the help I received by yourself and the PUK team.
