I went to Queen's yesterday for a hysteroscopy and had been dreading this invasive procedure. Lois set me at ease immediately, explained clearly what was going to happen and introduced me to the rest of the team, Adi and Fanoulla. Bearing in mind how undignified and uncomfortable a hysteroscopy is, I can honestly say that I was relaxed by their attentiveness and friendliness. Lois apologised for saying my name "too much" but it really made me feel like a person and not just another procedure to be got through to meet targets. I was seen on time (to the minute), never felt rushed and felt completely safe. I cannot praise Lois highly enough. I have never had such a positive hospital experience before.
