I can't recommend Kathryn highly enough (or thank her enough for everything she has done for me). My condition was a complete shock as it came totally out of the blue and I ended up having emergency life saving and life changing surgery. Her advice, help and support has enabled me to get my independence back, not to mention that she goes the extra mile liaising with GP's and the Hospital to expedite required further medical attention and assistance in appointments, which I would have had no clue about. Her knowledge and experience has been invaluable in getting the right products, assisting with my recovery/rehabilitation and ensuring that further complications have been minimal when I developed an allergic reaction to the appliance I now have to wear. I hope other patients who are yet to go through what I've been through are lucky enough to have Kathryn allocated as their Stoma Nurse... she has been amazing. And, even though the allotted time frame has now ended for her to visit regularly she still makes herself available if needed. She is amazing!
