Having to cope post-operatively with leaving hospital and learning to adapt and manage a stoma and all the attendant emotions was not easy for me, but Kathryn and the Fittleworth team made it bearable and doable. As for the friendly face, compassionate support and good sound knowledge and advice I received from Kathryn, they were a welcome tonic at each visit and have enabled me to function independently and enjoy life again.
