I was very apprehensive about having an outpatient hysteroscopy as I had read that it was a very painful procedure. Mrs Selvaraj was very astute and could see I was nervous. Straight away she gave me the option to come back and have the procedure done another time under general anaesthetic. She then talked me through the outpatient process and was very reassuring. I therefore agreed to try the procedure in the outpatient department and it was fine. Not painful at all. She had 2 staff assisting her and one was particularly friendly and put me at ease. I would recommend this team of staff.
