Took time to consider a range of issues and was helpful and understanding
Andrew was kind, listened and involved me in a solution. He is a credit to the service.
Andrew listened with empathy and offered helpful advice.
This was the best stoma nurse I have seen. He was knowledgeable about my condition, but also respectful in listening to and appreciating my own knowledge and experience. I did not at any point feel patronised, as has been the case with all prior stoma nurses I have seen.
I felt listened to and really appreciated that Andrew took the time to explain the reasoning for his decisions and advice, so I could make an informed decision on which products to try next. He was very kind and friendly.
Mr Andrew Bird was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
