Good
I didn't speak with Joanne Gaffney, I spoke with Caroline McLauren (I think that was her last name).
Below is about Caroline:
I spoke with Caroline, she made me feel instantly comfortable. Listened to all I had to say, didn't rush me and prompted me with great questions so I got to explain everything about my lifestyle and diet etc.
She really cared about me and made some great suggestions with encouragement to help me progress and hopefully get some resolution.
I couldn't speak more highly about the whole thing.
I've been investigating these issues with the NHS and privately for about 7yrs now and sometimes a new channel with new medical professionals can make it a tiresome and frustrating process... This was not the case and was all down to Caroline's knowledge, understanding and experience.
A huge thank you to Caroline.
She showed some understanding of my situation and the 'circle' I am in. She sounded optimistic regarding helping me.
I think this is a very good support program. Having a terminal illness is not only frightening sometimes, but confusing, so it"s really good to have someone that relates to your condition. Jodi and Daniel have been so patient and really great in explaining each process of the programme. I feel really good that I have an itemised program to work with and knowing that the goal is to feel better at coping with my condition.
I can see from my experience they are kind and doing the best. good luck
