My husband underwent urgent 'Whipple' surgery last year following diagnosis of a tumor in his bile duct. It was a traumatic time for my family, but Aileen was absolutely wonderful and a massive support for my husband and our family. She sat with us at the bedside regularly, patiently explaining the medical jargon and constantly keeping an eye on my husbands progress in a caring, professional and loving manner. She was always at the end of her phone whenever we needed help or advice and even now, 6 months on, we are struggling to manage my husbands pain but Aileen is still happy to make calls and put us in touch with the right people. We are so grateful for her kindness and support. Thank you so much.
