Everything very good but the noise of bells etc as well as drilling was extremely bad on two days of my stay.
Efficient but discharge seems a slow process
Certain issues were not resolved during my time in the ward, the heating was the main problem and it was never fixed in the whole time, hence the side ward was always cold apart from a small fan heater and the food was ver unsatisfactory as all meals came prepared and no flexability in providing for the requirement of the customer having declared certain food take in.
I think you all work very hard and the staff are working under a lot of stress due to lack of more staff.
A short stay but always treated with care kindness and consideration
My stay here has been awful, not one doctor came to see me for 4 days even though I could have a serious condition. Then one consultant came to talk to me, did NOT pull my curtains across and then shouted out my business. But one agency nurse Matthew has been my nurse for the past couple days and has been amazing, very caring and has made my time here much more enjoyable and could not sing his praises anymore. Apart from him all the other staff have been very very rude.
Mathew (agency nurse ) was amazing and helped us with anything
I am very upset and disgusted at how my daughter was spoke to by the consultant no care or privacy at all and to diagnose a poss serious condition which was never even talked about to her or us before. It left both myself and daughter very cross and upset..But we want to say that one of ward nurses Mathew was extremely lovely and kind and couldn't do enough for her and us as a family..he was the one good reason to be on this ward a real asset to the NHS.(agency nurse).whichever hospital he goes to next they are very lucky.
A long initial wait to be seen by doctor in A&E but incredibly busy in there. All staff very caring, respectful and efficient in ACCU. Felt i was kept very well informed.
