All very helpful
I broke my little finger after a fall in my garden. After suffering for two weeks I decided it was probably a fracture. I visited A&E at YDH, where I was reviewed by 2 doctors with Xray. A nurse strapped the finger and I was told the plan of action. Next day, I was invited in and reviewed by Doctor in fracture clinic. Later I was invited to the Physio dept who suggested a programme of exercise. I was signed off today. My point is, I have been very impressed and grateful throughout with the care and integrated thought applied to a minor injury. The NHS is definitely a wonderful asset. Thank you, Stuart VITTLES.
Very efficient process from being seen in a&e to getting a follow up after images were reviewed. Thanks
Staff were friendly and helpful making it stress free experience.
Every single person I had contact with while I was there, which was 6 hours, was extremely nice and friendly, despite it being 3am. They kept me informed as to what was happening at all times, and even gave me some breakfast whilst I was waiting for my test results. Can't thank them all enough.
I slipped and sustained a 4cm gash to my right knee at 08.45 this morning (Saturday). Recognising that I needed rapid treatment, I phoned NHS 111 who referred me to A&E at Yeovil District Hospital. I arrived at 10.15, was seen within 10 minutes for triage, then received treatment within another 10. I left A&E at 12.00 midday. I have nothing but praise for all who saw me and in particular for the young A&E doctor who was reassuring, engaging and efficient. A first class service.
i have been looked after to the highest standard where nothing was too much trouble
Quick efficient friendly call.
