I didn’t have to wait long for my densitometry scan appointment. I was called without delay from the waiting area. This service is as good as it can be. There is no need for improvement.

My only concern was that I was sent an appointment by post with less than 2 weeks warning and I was away on holiday and only returned the day before the appointment. If there is any way of sending appointments by email or text to mobile phones it might be better and less likely to have people not turn up.
Altogether a great service.

My elderly mother was treated extremely well by the staff at the hospital (Yeovil, Somerset). I am always impressed by the treatment given to her. I highly recommend this hospital for first class treatment. All so very caring and considerate. You come home with a good feeling. My mother is very happy with the care from this hospital.
The only difficulty was the car parking arrangement. A design fault. I park in the 20 minute place to drop mum off and then need to get to the multi-storey car park. To do this I have to drive back onto the main road and drive round to the hospital entrance again. This repeated when I park back in the 20 minute parking to get mum back into my car when she is ready to go home. This was my experience recently when mum had a day of assessment at the FAU (Frailty Assessment Unit).
Otherwise a wonderful hospital. Thank you.

very friendly proffessional staff specifically student midwife amy and midwife katie and all the emergency team. always kept abreast with info. very grateful for all of the efforts from everyone throughout our experience at YDH.
