I arrived slightly early and was called almost immediately. The young man who was the Radiographer introduced himself as Chris and took me along to the X-ray room. He weighed me and measured my height and then he explained that he was going to conduct the X-ray and would X-ray my left hip to see how it compared with the bone density scan I had in 2016. He arranged me into position on my back on the X-ray table and I heard the machine coming on and off. I then moved to having my legs raised and had more X-Rays. Chris then came in and said, "It's all done". I asked if I had to wait and he said no, you are free to go. I asked if I would get the results and he said, "Yes, Claire will contact you." The scan was very quickly and professionally done and I was back at the car park in just over half an hour. The parking was the worst part but otherwise, the whole process was very well carried out.
