during the most stressful time in my life with a traumatic birth and then my little boy needing treatment the midwifes were amazing. i felt supported beyond measure and when i was feeling low or self doubting the team were all great in reassuring and comforting me. i think the care recieved here on freya is outstanding, i will never forget your kindness and thank you all from the bottom of my heart. i would like to highlight a few members of staff who have for me really gone above and beyond, Linda who put up with me for 3 days on labour ward, student kylie, Ally who looked after me on both labour ward was with me in theatre and then cared for me here on freya. a special thankyou must go to Vicki and her amazing support with breastfeeding. she helped and encouraged me with a no nonsense approach and i appreciated the way that she told it how it is. this was particularly comforting during a couple of discrepancies with SCBU, during which i felt Vicki "had my back" which was reassuring at a very stressful time.
