I recently received superb care at Wrexham Maelor Hospital (Jan 2024). I was admitted via A&E whose staff worked with great skill to stabilise my sepsis & DKA following a chest infection. I was transferred, & spent 3 days, on ITU whose staff looked after me with care, professionalism and dignity. I was then transferred to the Prince of Wales ward for 3 days where I received , and witnessed, great care delivered with patience and respect. I saw the full range of NHS staff during my stay and can honestly say that everyone of them was professional, kind and supportive. Thank you Wrexham Maelor and thank you to the NHS for wonderful care free at the point of delivery.
