Arrived at 12.18 with my 15yo son, straight onto the children’s ward as letter from GP and they had agreed to see him . First set of observations were done straight away then It was 4 hours before anyone came back round. No offer of water or pain medication throughout the 8 hours we were here! Student asked questions, then an hour later a doctor asked the same questions and examined him, she said she needed to speak to a senior. She then came to us and said they were
Doing handover which would take 30/40 minutes and a different doctor would be round to see him. 18.20 I asked a passing nurse if there was any news on when he would be seen.
