Attended 3 times due to a steam burn on my leg. 1st visit was within an hour of the incident after cooling the burn under water. Whilst waiting to book in a member of staff saw me and asked what happened and took me straight into a treatment room to remove the cling film and dress the wound. As soon as that was done another member of staff came in to assess and deroof. It was dressed once again and was asked to come in the next day for a review. 2nd visit I came in at the appointment time and after a short while I checked with reception to manage my wait time expectations as I was under the impression I had an appointment however that was just an arrival time. Wait was around 45 minutes which was quicker than the advertised wait time. It was further deroofed and a referral made to the burns unit. Gas and air was offered to ease the pain during the cleaning process. 3rd visit due to the dressing being soaked through from the weeping wound. Wait time wasn’t too bad. All staff were friendly and helpful.
