I had to visit Witney Minor Injuries Unit in total 5 times during December 2023 for an extensive (what turned out to be a 2nd degree) burn to my lower back following an 'exploding' hot water bottle. The nurses were ALL (and I saw many; some on repeat!) absolutely incredible with their duty of care, knowledge, kindness and empathy, and I felt very well looked after every single time. Not once did I feel like I had to wrestle for answers, attention or follow-up care (as can sometimes be the case within the NHS) as it was readily available and given without question. I am very impressed with this small unit and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others with a similar issue. Thank you! PS I urge everyone to throw away their hot water bottles...
