Excellent care, staff at all levels were kind, considerate and thoughtful. Definitely would recommend Oke ward. Best ward I have every been on.

I think that patients that are ill by mouth should be separated from 'eaters' as its very frustrating to watch people eat when your ill by mouth. Communication to patients about time could be improved. The doctor could do with removing

Very responsive and friendly atmosphere. Roomy and well laid out ward with close toilet facilities (and shower). Cleaning regime seemed to be working. Good supply yea/coffee food bland but suitable. Bedside it difficult to assess and access could do with small table in toilet to place items.

Before exploratory surgery, everything was explained in great detail. I fully understood what might happen. I could not fault the nursing care, much kindness was shown to me. Glad to have opportunity to shower/wash. As I am returning in a few months to have appendix removed I am most worried about the nurses as a result of antibiotic drip. I also suffered greatly with wind after surgery. It was very, very painful and went on for hours. Probably very little can be done about this about

Midwives were fantastic. Provided help without being patronising. I never felt like I was being a burden to them, and that I could ask as many questions as I wanted. They were all very supportive and friendly. I couldn't of asked for better care.
