I was in A&E with my daughter for a total of 12 hours. In that time the front desk were very polite and helpful but the night staff/nurse that I eventually saw did not seem to care. He was yawning as he asked some triage questions and kept promising that someone was on their way to see me, hour after hour, but I had to wait for the morning shift for this to happen. I am 83 years old and spent the night in a chair. A&E was not busy (I could see into resus from where I was sitting). Therefore I do not understand why I received this poor level of service.

Nurses are kind and caring, was happy about it.
Suggested improvements
Not sure the catering service is adequate. I believe it cost a lot of money for the NHS. But quality of meals is lower compared to supermarket ready meals.
