Very unhappy. Triage nurse was not careful with BP machine knowing I was in pain from my shoulder. Nurse who did ECG was delightful and careful Examining doctor did not listen to me. Went out of the examining room twice for information. Whoever she spoke to did not come in and examine me. She diagnosed a torn muscle and gave me the same strength codeine I already had that had no effect on the pain. I tried to explain that I thought a nerve was inpinged and that I'd had it previously and taken diazepam for the muscle spasms but she said as I wasn't having a spasm in front of her she couldn't prescribe it and that they had none anyway. I asked if it would be possible to have some Oromorph for the pain as co-codamol did not take any pain away and she said they had none. I went to the Osteopath on Monday and he confirmed I'd had an inpinged nerve and that co-codamol would not help nerve pain. I was not treated at all well by the NHS. The Osteopath applied heat and stretched and manipulated my back and gave me freedom of movement.

Suggested improvements
Been more careful when taking BP. LISTEN to what I was explaining. Not diagnosed 3rd party from someone out of the room. Prescribed anti spasm medication. Referred me to physio.
