There was a problem this morning with my appointment that was a six week follow up after operation on 20th Feb in as much as I received the letter but typist/ booking clerk did not log the appointment on system.
So when I arrived this morning for 8.50 appointment that did not exist, the receptionist spoke to consultant who confirmed he would see me but failed to inform the 2 nurses only after I had been waiting for more than 1 hour ,I managed to catch a nurse’s attention and she kindly then sorted it out .
Just wanted to make a point that receptionist should always inform nurses so they keep the consultants fully informed, I could have been sat there for hours.
