The ambulance staff were absolutely wonderful and very reassuring. Very professional too they were very kind and thoughtful. The hospital staff in A&E were excellent. They very quickly dealt with admission and their duties were carried out excellently. The only problem was that due to my Polymyalgia I was very uncomfortable and left for 5 hours without seeing a doctor to assess my extreme difficulty breathing and it was very frightening. I was cold and there wasn’t a blanket anywhere. my poor husband sat on a little chair whilst we awaited the doctor. The doctor who did attend was excellent and very helpful.

As it was a long long wait it would have been more comfortable to have had a blanket and a much more comfortable chair, and some water to drink.
