Excellent care. Lots of waiting for test results. Bay area for sitting could be better. It has 5 patient chairs at the mo but curtains for only 3 so patient privacy is compromised. Its ok for waiting but treatment and consultations are carried out in this corridor area. It also has a computer station so this contributes to the lack of space in the area. No staff hand washing facilities in this area either, only hand gel so compromises cross infection policy. This area is where canulas are fitted, blood tests are taken and basic obs too. I guess not really fit for purpose but used because the department has a high throughput of patients.
