I had good care in the daytime. Not so good at night, especially when I was awake and wanting meds.

Staff always friendly and kept us informed of anything we needed to know. We felt reassured that our daughter was being well cared for. Words are not enough to say Thank you for everything. You are all appreciated.

Good range of general activities ( baking, movie nights etc). Staff are generally very kind especially in a crisis but sometimes go to medicating too quickly. You're clearly all doing the best you can!!!

lack of therapeutic activities. No actual therapeutic communications. A lot of time to try and fill during the day. Very sporadic contact with doctors and not always easy to get in contact with a doctor when requested. Difficult to get answers from medical team due to lack of presence on the unit.

The staff, kind caring and always able to make you smile.

Few hiccups at the start when medication was changed without me knowing. But was sorted out quickly. Did listen and take everything on board.

Regular check-ins Excellent food Many activities Comfortable environment Timely medication.

Would have liked more scheduled check-in with Doctor and social worker - was only seen by Doctor on admission and thought the day after . I fully appreciate they are busy. ? Physio - they could potentially have continued outdoors?

When I first came - & within the week I had a blood test by MaryAnne - I would like to say it was excellent - I had not had a test like it since the 70's. SS a Matron Nurse who agreed with me that that is the last area to take blood for test with no leakage to other areas & that my theory of layers might be right i.e that it takes 2 weeks to really Scripcire & shed skin. That in exiting a single area of pressure was exact and good quantity blood of the blood to test.
