We would like to give feedback to you regarding our daughter, Julie's time spent in Wintle Ward at Warneford Hospital. We want to thank you for looking after our daughter and supporting her, while she was in your care! We would like to say a special thank you to Ian on Wintle Ward for all his expert help and his contact with us regarding Julie's progress! Ian was very helpful, supportive and reassuring, keeping us updated! This went beyond the call of duty and we commend him for it. We also want to thank Emma, Julie's mental health supporter for her deep concern and care throughout Julie's crisis. It was through Emma's quick action that Julie received the urgent help that she needed. She was instrumental in bringing this about. Both Ian and Emma have shown outstanding service and are a credit to their profession. Finally, thank you also for providing Julie with housing at Micklewood House, with mental health support.

Suggested improvements
We had several alarms about her being released too soon and then we were reassured that was not the case. This caused us terrible anguish and unnerved us at a serious level. This added acute distress to the way we were feeling, as we had suffered heart-breaking trauma throughout last year, due to family bereavements, a relative seriously ill (still) and on top of all that, Julie's breakdown.
