Was promised prescription of heat pads for chronic back pain four days ago and this has not happened ; I appreciate that I am not able to use my usual source of heat therapy being a electric heat pad on ward. Was told that I could access support on a one to one basis for an hour a day so that I can work on my laptop on a table at suitable height ( dining room) . This has not happened since Friday . On Friday I asked that it would be very useful if we could have an indication on a daily basis when I could have ten minutes on a one to one basis with my named nurse to discuss my care and progress . This too has not happened . The ward is noisy and disruptive , patients are openly vaping in the communal areas . There are too many bank staff on the ward rather than regular nurses
